Job Purpose *Manage a varied client portfolio, monitoring deadlines and budgets.
*Preparation of year-end accounts.
*Preparation of tax returns and computations.
*Undertake PAYE and VAT work.
*Finalises paperwork and file with HMRC.
*Identify upselling opportunities.
*Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships as their go-to advisor.
*Manage junior staff, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.
*Support with bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and supplier maintenance.
*Preparation of management accounts.
*Support the firm’s business development strategies, including networking and business generation.
*Review processes and implement more efficient ways of service delivery.
*Set an example as a hands-on and supportive Manager.
