Job Purpose *Overseeing audit engagements and leading onsite teams to ensure quality and timely deliver (70% of the role)
*Preparation of accounts and tax computations (30% of the role)
*Building strong rapport with clients to identify and resolve any queries
*Escalating complex matters to Senior Managment team to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and effectively
*Reviewing work before passing completed file to Senior Manager
*Providing mentorship to junior staff, offering feedback to champion skill sharing
*Supporting Senior Management team by assisting with ad-hoc projects where required
*Undertaking further learning opportunities to progress within the firm

The Successful Applicant *ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or studying
*Proven track record of undertaking statutory audits within practice
*Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role
*Strong interest in audit and good understanding of best practices
*Working knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
*Good communication skills, both verbal and written
*Solid understanding of Caseware and Microsoft applications
*Ability to learn new IT skills quickly
*Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
*A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
*Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
*Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
*Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
*Able to work confidently with senior team members
