Salary:
£47,683 – £ 52,426 (Commensurate with skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
* Source and analyse historic procurement data in order to identify opportunities for future cost savings and potential risks to new and recurring procurement contracts, supporting the Procurement Value teams.
* Collate, analyse and report procurement data to support strategic procurement leadership decisions.
* Drive high quality opportunity generation within Procurement, through collaboration across the wider business/other functions.
* Exhibit a cost-conscious, action-orientated mind set supporting the Procurement Value and Performance teams to anticipate and avoid cost hazards, as well as deliver cost benefit opportunities.
* Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks allocated by management.
* Develop evidence-based, cost-reducing business cases to support procurement savings
Your skills and experiences:
* The ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations
* A working understanding of tool sets and IT such as ERP systems, Microsoft Office programs particularly in Excel
* The ability to work dynamically and respond to rapidly changing business demands, in order to support strategic procurement decisions
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* You will have, or be working towards CIPS OR have a similar professional qualification OR hold a degree in a STEM or a business related subject (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance)
* Previous experience within a Procurement/Supply Chain-based role

The Cost Analyst Team
This is an exciting and dynamic role that will require you to collate, analyse and report procurement data to support strategic procurement leadership decisions and build successful business cases. You will be regularly liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders whilst gaining exposure to the wider business.
