Sales Administrator Role
New vacancy due to expanding and strengthening the Sales and Marketing team.  The Sales Administrator will provide administrative support to an international sales team.  Seeking an experienced and diligent Sales Administrator with a good track record of working in the scientific or engineering industries.
You will be working in a small, dynamic team, so it is important that you are flexible and self-motivated. The majority of customers are scientists and engineers, so some background and interest in science or engineering is desirable but not essential.
Key areas of responsibility:
*Screening and logging customer enquiries including phone calls and emails
*Assigning sales enquiries/ opportunities to the relevant sales team member / distributor
*Logging and processing orders on the system
*Updating customers upon receipt of their order to confirm details
*Ensuring orders are checked and released by the Sales Team / Production within agreed timeframe
*Liaise with stores personnel to ensure the customer’s order is shipped on time
*Monitoring data logged in CRM is accurate and up to date
*Making travel arrangements for the Sales Team
*Providing administrative support to the Sales Team when required
Knowledge, skills and experience:
*Experience in sales administration role for technical or scientific products
*Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
*Knowledge of administration recordkeeping practices
*Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach towards problem-solving
