Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Chingford, E4 | Pay: £90 - £100 per day | Contract: Temp to Perm | Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Chingford. This role offers a great opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
*Provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to stay on track with their learning.
*Manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and structured learning environment.
*Help prepare and organise teaching materials, ensuring the classroom is ready for each lesson.
*Supervise pupils during lessons, breaks, and school activities to ensure their safety.
*Offer targeted support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN), adapting learning methods to suit their individual needs.
*Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and staff to provide comprehensive support for pupils.
Qualifications:
*Previous experience working in a primary school setting is preferred.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, staff, and parents.
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils’ learning and development.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
