Job Description:
Our client is committed to setting the highest standards in building safety. They are seeking an experienced Senior Building Safety Manager to lead these critical initiatives and drive a systemic approach to building safety.
About the Role In this role, you will oversee the development and continuous updating of Building Safety Cases for high-rise properties, managing inspection programmes and commissioning relevant information to maintain compliance. Your work will ensure full adherence to the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and other regulatory requirements.
You’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and residents, fostering open communication, trust, and transparency.
What We’re Looking For: *Qualifications: *Minimum Level 4 Diploma in building safety or equivalent experience.
*Membership (or working towards membership) in CIBSE, RICS, CIOB, IFE, or another recognized professional body.

*Experience & Knowledge: *Extensive knowledge of Building Safety and Fire Safety legislation (e.g., Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, Duty of Care).
*Proven track record in regulatory compliance and building safety management.
*You may have come from a Fire Safety or Fire Safety Inspecting Officer background, bringing with you valuable expertise in evaluating compliance and safeguarding environments.

*Skills & Competencies: *Strategic thinking with strong asset management capabilities.
*Leadership skills to advance building safety initiatives.
*Exceptional communication abilities for engaging stakeholders and supporting outreach efforts.

*Other Requirements: *Flexibility to travel across multiple sites.
*Ability to meet physical access requirements and comply with lone worker policies.
