Your new role
*Community Engagement:
*Develop and implement an annual community engagement plan.
*Organise and facilitate resident participation events, workshops, and activities.
*Build strong relationships with residents, local organisations, and stakeholders.
*Foster a sense of community and belonging amongst residents.
*Project Coordination:
*Coordinate community projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and impact.
*Work with partners to deliver shared objectives and maximise resources.
*Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs.
*Communication and Reporting:
*Produce regular communications and updates for residents, including newsletters and social media content.
*Gather and analyse resident feedback to inform future planning and decision-making.
*Prepare reports on community engagement activities and outcomes.
*Partnership Building:
*Collaborate with local authorities, businesses, and community groups to strengthen partnerships and secure resources.
*Advocate for the needs of the community and work towards positive change.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Experience in community engagement or a related field
*Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse groups
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
*A passion for creating vibrant and inclusive communities
Desired Skills and Experience:
*Knowledge of local community issues and needs
*Experience in project management
*Understanding of sustainability principles and practices
