Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000
Top of the range will be offered to a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
We are currently recruiting for a valued client of ours that are based in Wolverhampton. We are looking for a candidate that is keen to continue their career in Accounts! We are ideally looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable. This is an all-round Accounts role, therefore experience in one side of the ledger is essential in order to hit the ground running with elements of the role! Responsibilities Will Include:
*Work alongside the Company Accountant to complete Credit Control duties including credit checks and cash allocation
*Perform general filing and archiving duties
*Respond to general enquiries over the telephone in a professional and polite manner
*Record payments into the cashbook and update the system accordingly
*Manage sales invoicing, raise credit notes and update company reports
*Undertake any other general ad-hoc duties as required
Ideally, You Will:
*Have completed or be studying towards your AAT qualification
*Must have at least 1 year of experience in either Accounts Payable or Account Receivable in order to hit the ground running with elements of the role
*Have excellent communication skills in order to get on with the team and build relationships with customers/suppliers
*Be a positive individual that is keen to learn from those around them and grow with the business!
