The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:
*Support the monthly closing process within tight deadlines and present reports to Senior Management.
*Uphold compliance with internal accounting and external governance policies.
*Assist management with technical accounting matters.
*Prepare statutory accounts under FRS.
*Act as a key point of contact for external auditors for quarterly and year-end audits.
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
*Must be an ACA qualified Accountant
*Proven experience in the preparation of statutory accounts and serving as a key contact for external auditors.
*Strong internal controls and compliance skills, SOX exposure is a MUST
*Proficiency in SAP is advantageous
*Detailed knowledge of accounting standards, including Hedging, Pension & Lease Accounting.
Salary & Benefits
In return, the successful Management Accountant will receive the following:
*£50,000 base salary
*26 days holidays
