Job Title: Teacher of Pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs
Location: Chatham
Pay: MPS/UPS (Qualified Teachers) / UT Pay Scale (Unqualified Teachers)
Start Date: January
We are seeking an exceptional and inspirational Teacher of Pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs. We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified teachers, particularly those with a specialism or experience in teaching SEN.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding SEMH provision. We will be moving to a brand new, purpose-built academy in September 2025, enhancing our capacity and offering excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality teaching to students with SEMH needs.
*Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
*Collaborate with a dedicated team to improve student outcomes.
*Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Requirements:
*Proven experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs.

*A commitment to high standards and a passion for teaching.
Qualifications:
*Educated to degree level with evidence of successful teaching at Primary or Secondary level.
*Experience working with pupils exhibiting challenging behaviours.
