Job Description:
Credit Analyst – Banking
Venn Group are seeking an experienced professional with a background in Credit Analysis, ideally with around five years of hands-on experience, exposure to corporate clients, and knowledge of real estate deals. Join a respected bank in London, where you’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating creditworthiness, shaping risk strategies, and supporting growth in key markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth credit analysis and assessments on new and existing corporate clients
• Evaluate and assess the financial and non-financial risks associated with corporate lending, with a specific focus on real estate transactions
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for senior management and credit committees
• Monitor existing portfolios, identifying potential risks and opportunities
• Collaborate with relationship managers, ensuring a seamless client experience while safeguarding the bank’s assets
What We’re Looking For:
• Approximately 5 years’ experience in Credit Analysis within banking or financial services
• Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, with specific exposure to corporate clients and real estate
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound credit recommendations
• Detail-oriented and highly organised, with strong skills in financial modelling and forecasting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as Microsoft Excel and credit analysis tools
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and development
