We are partnering with a leading tech focused mid-market private equity firm which is looking to add an ESG professional to their London office. This broad and varied position offers an exciting chance to join a rapidly growing firm and gain exposure to ESG and sustainability work across the firm and its portfolio. What the job involves *Supporting the implementation of the firm’s ESG approach and ESG performance reviews
*Assisting with ESG reviews of existing portfolio companies and defining key data and performance measurement
*Close engagement with deal teams and portfolio companies to ensure ESG implementation and value creation
*Support the team on external ESG and sustainability related reporting
Who we are looking for *Holistic understanding of ESG and sustainability
*Ability to maintain oversight over multiple working streams and prioritise accordingly
*Desire to learn technical skills in a quickly evolving sector
*Confidence in voicing opinion, finding solutions and contributing to a team
*Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with data to communicate trends and messages
*Technical knowledge of ESG issues
*Knowledge of policy and regulatory developments, disclosure requirements and best practice
*Strong communication and relationship building skills
*Passionate and motivated about sustainability topics
*Experience in sustainability/ESG gained through either consultancy or an in-house position within the private markets or asset management
*Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to highlight trends and communicate data clearly and concisely
