Job Title: Primary Teacher
Type: Full-Time
Start Date: 02/01/2025
Pay Rate: £135-145 per day
About the Role We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a Good-rated Ofsted primary school in DE21. This part-time role involves teaching Year 2 for two days per week and providing PPA cover for other classes on the remaining days. This position is well-suited for ECTs and those with HLTA experience looking to develop their teaching career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities *Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
*Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment to support Year 2 students’ learning and development
*Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
*Deliver high-quality PPA cover across various classes, adapting lessons to meet diverse student needs
*Collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents to support student success
*Uphold the school’s policies, promoting a respectful, positive environment
Qualifications *Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
*Experience in primary teaching (ECTs are welcome to apply)
*Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
