Partner with a function of competent senior/3rd line engineers that are receptive to a leader that can show them how to reach the next level of excellence. 
You’ll be given the trust to implement new technology to improve service standards and work with underwriters and senior directors to build a clear picture of how service needs to be enhanced, and in turn trusted by your director to deliver this in the way you see fit. 
There is a tranche of projects already on the press ready for you to contribute to, and a period of organisational change you can impact. 
What You Will Need
You will be required to possess a strong technical background to build confidence and trust with the senior engineers and contribute to their career development plans. 
Large scale technical transformation experience is a neccesity, replacing their primary underwriting platform will be complemented by supporting 600 total users and a blend of on prem and saas applications. 
Stakeholder engagement will be critical, deciphering and understanding the objectives of users and pains they are feeling and then proposing technical and functional solutions will be a critical barometer of your success.
Skills You Will Need 
*Experience with SQL Server
*Experience with ITIL Implementation
*Experience within regulated indsutry( SOX or Solvency 2)
