Our client, a leader in offender learning, is currently seeking a Business Tutor to join their educational team at HMP Thameside in Greenwich, London. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in learners’ lives by helping them acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to set up and run their own businesses.
Key Responsibilities: *Developing and delivering high-quality business lessons focused on helping individuals to start their own businesses
*Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement
*Assessing learners’ needs and developing individualised learning plans
*Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
*Collaborating with colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes for all learners
Job Requirements: *A teaching qualification would be desirable or equivalent subject specialist qualification
*Minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
*Prior experience working with offenders
*Previous experience delivering training on starting up your own business/going self-employed
*Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check
Benefits: *A competitive salary package of £30,000 - £37,000
