Job Title: Technology Business Analyst - Digital Transformation

Location: Central London (1 day per week on-site)
Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract, Starting 5th January 2025
Rate: £475 per day (Inside IR35)
Salt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technology Business Analyst to support a large-scale digital transformation programme on behalf of our Local Government client in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical initiative aimed at enhancing service delivery across departments, including Children’s, Adults, and Exchequer Services, through process redesign and innovative digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities: *Collaborate with various departments to understand their objectives, gather requirements, and deliver targeted digital solutions.
*Conduct end-to-end process mapping, including As-Is and To-Be processes, to identify areas for improvement and create more efficient service models.
*Work closely with Shared Technology Services to ensure new systems are built on modern, sustainable platforms that deliver value for money and meet stakeholder requirements.
*Gather both functional and non-functional requirements, supporting project delivery throughout the entire lifecycle to minimise disruption to services.
*Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience: *Strong background in business analysis within a digital transformation context, ideally with experience in local government or large public-sector organisations.
*Demonstrable expertise in business process re-engineering, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
*Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies to suit varied project needs.
*Proven track record in delivering projects that optimise user experience and increase digital service engagement.
*Solid understanding of IT service frameworks and tools, including BPMN, Visio, and similar process modelling tools.
