About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Peterborough. This temporary position offers the opportunity to work 4 to 5 days per week, engaging with students and contributing to their academic growth. The role includes planning, marking, and fulfilling other teaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
*Plan and prepare lesson materials in line with the curriculum.
*Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback.
*Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school’s educational objectives.
Requirements:
*Experience in teaching English at the secondary education level.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
