Job Description:
Ecosurety is seeking an Associate Data Team Manager to lead a team of data specialists in delivering top-quality data services and regulatory submissions. This role combines strong organisational, analytical, and leadership skills to achieve data excellence and ensure high client satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day team operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines across all team outputs, while managing your own limited portfolio of client data projects. A significant part of the role involves resource allocation management, requiring close collaboration with other delivery managers.
In this role, you’ll ensure effective case progression by providing guidance and supporting your team to unblock issues that may arise. As a subject matter expert in EPR (extended producer responsibility) regulations, you’ll coach the team, offer best practice advice, and serve as an escalation point for complex queries.
Working closely with client services, you’ll maintain high standards for data integrity and regulatory compliance, particularly during key submission periods. Additionally, you’ll contribute to service development and continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance team performance and client outcomes.

Job Description
The role has several core aspects that include:
Team Leadership: Lead a team of data specialists in the day-to-day delivery of data services. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to standard, while fostering a collaborative culture that promotes innovation, problem-solving, and accountability. Chair various meetings to support achieve delivery outcomes.
Project Coordination: Maintain oversight of successful team delivery of data services, ensuring resources within the team are directed appropriately. Collaborate with internal teams and directly with clients to ensure project scopes are clear and provide an escalation point for your team for concerns, guidance and best practice.
Client Data Services: Work closely with clients and account managers to collect, cleanse, and analyse EPR-related data, ensuring timely and accurate submissions for regulatory compliance and to meet other stakeholder requirements.
Business Development Support: Assist business development teams by scoping data projects, offering insights into data collection and reporting requirements tailored to client needs.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure team and individual outputs are consistent with regulatory and internal process requirements. Provide technical oversight on the delivery of core data services. Contribute to ongoing development of internal processes.
Person Specification
*Proven experience in managing or mentoring a data-focused team, with strong people management and motivational skills.
*Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and manage time to ensure project milestones are met.
*Advanced skills in data management and analysis, with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel or other similar tools.
*Strong project management skills, with ability to deliver data services efficiently within a compliance-driven environment.
*Ability to identify process improvements that boost productivity and data accuracy across data projects.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate methodologies, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
*Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders, including conducting onsite meetings across the UK as required.
*High level of attention to detail, with an understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements within the industry.
*Proactive approach to learning and implementing new technical knowledge, maintaining high standards for data integrity and compliance.

*Circa £40K per year
*Permanent, full-time contract
*28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
