Job Description:
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham? Workchain is currently recruiting for a Permanent position in the Driving industry. (Wag and drag work) For a recycling paper firm. The starts will be between 0400 - 0600 and Monday to Friday. Shift lengths be 9 - 10 hours. Previous experience of WAG and DRAG/ Draw Bar work would be preferred due to the nature of the work.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Transport goods and materials to various locations
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle
Qualifications required:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Previous experience as an HGV driver
- Good knowledge of Birmingham and surrounding areas
The pay rate for this position is from £15 to £16 per hour, depending on experience.
