VP - FI Advisory (M&A)


*Take part in sourcing and executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
*Handle the structuring, approval, and closing processes of M&A, capital markets, and other financial transactions for strategic and sponsor clients.
*Maintain strong connections with other teams, such as DCM, ECM, Acquisition Finance, Financial Markets, and Relationship Management.
*Develop proposals and financing solutions for complex transactions.
*Build and maintain financial models.
*Prepare essential documentation for transactions (e.g., legal documents, structuring papers).
*Lead and oversee a deal team to achieve established goals.
*Focus on sub-sector alignment while independently growing business development and marketing activities, with senior-level support.
*Guide junior team members through the stages of deal origination and execution.
Profile
Financial Services
*5-7 years of experience in M&A or Corporate Finance, with proven success in transactions involving strategic and sponsor clients.
*5-7 years in investment banking roles, working with FI clients.
*Significant hands-on experience with M&A, DCM, ECM, and capital structuring projects.
*Analytical skills and experience representing a team both internally and externally.
*Proficiency in English.
*Preferably Expertise in one or two key sectors relevant to Financial Institution clients.
*Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
*Proficiency in an additional European language is preferred but not essential.
