About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technical Trainer to join our team as a Retail, Hospitality, and Employability Lecturer for Adult Education.
This role involves delivering high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant training to students, employees, and employers across a range of levels, from Entry level to Level 4, including apprenticeships, commercial programs, and HNC/D provision.
The successful candidate will bring both industry experience and a passion for inspirational teaching and assessment practices, meeting the needs of all learners. Key responsibilities include tracking student engagement, attendance, and progress to ensure successful outcomes. This role will also actively promote West London Retail Skills Hub services and opportunities to local businesses and communities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Deliver the West London Retail Skills Hub curriculum, focusing on retail, hospitality, and employability programs and qualifications.
*Provide training aligned with professional standards and College expectations.
*Design and deliver programs that meet current retail and hospitality industry needs and address identified skills gaps.
*Build, maintain, and develop productive relationships with employers and other stakeholders.
*Actively identify and establish new partnerships, supporting program development and expanding both full-cost and funded offerings.
*Track, monitor, and evaluate all activities to ensure operational standards are met.
*Perform administrative duties as necessary, including keyholder responsibilities.
*Share reception duties as needed.
