Job Description:
Are you looking for more flexibility and to choose which days you work each week? Do you enjoy covering a range of subjects and year groups? If so, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you! Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting for a daily supply teacher in the Thanet area to work in a range of secondary school settings. The role will be flexible and would suit full time or part time hours - daily rate of between £110 and £130!
The role of a daily supply teacher:
*Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
*Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
*Ensure students are on task and have all equipment needed to complete their work effectively
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous experience of working with secondary school students
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and challenges
*Confident in managing classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
*Be available between 8:15am and 3:30pm on the day’s you’re available for work
*Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
*Legal right to work in the UK
