Finance Manager
*Annual Salary: £65,000

A leading services business is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial reporting for multiple subsidiary companies within the Group. This role is ideal for a qualified, experienced accountant who desires broad exposure to accounting and financial management within a growing international business.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Own the month-end processes and monthly reporting.
*Consolidate company cashflows, monthly management accounts, and budgets/forecasts.
*Engage regularly with business operations to ensure financial alignment and support operational needs.
*Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the Group.
*Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors, ensuring all compliance issues are met.
*Ensure the company’s financial systems and processes are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
*Process payments through online banking.
*Lead and mentor a small team fostering a positive and productive work environment.
*Liaise with auditors, providing necessary information and analysis.
*Support the FC and other staff as needed.
*Handle other ad hoc duties to support the finance department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified ACCA/CIMA with post-qualification experience.
*Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Outstanding attention to detail and numerical skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
*In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Strong interpersonal skills with a ’can do’ attitude.
*Ability to maintain discretion and sensitivity in a fast-paced environment.
