About the role
As our GIS and Address Manager you will play a key role in:
*Maintaining and enhancing our Local Land and Property Gazetteer, ensuring address accuracy and accessibility.
*Managing Street Naming and Numbering requests, streamlining the process and upholding clear guidelines.
*Providing expert GIS support across the Council, creating maps, analysing data, and developing impactful visualisations.
*Contributing to cutting-edge projects, from data digitisation to implementing innovative GIS solutions.
This management role extends beyond our own borders. You will have the unique opportunity to forge a strong partnership with Reigate and Banstead Council who we have partnered with to manage the day to day operations of their gazetteer and street naming services.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GIS or Address Management professional with a proven track record in leadership. You will possess in-depth knowledge of GIS principles, data management, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. Most importantly, you’ll be a visionary leader with a passion for technology and its potential to solve real life challenges within a community setting.
