Leasing Executive
Role Objectives The Leasing Executive will support the leasing process by preparing and finalizing offer letters, lease documentation, and maintaining accurate data within relevant systems. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless and efficient leasing experience for both landlords and tenants.
Key ResponsibilitiesLease Preparation and Documentation:
*Prepare offer letters, Heads of Terms, lease agreements, completion statements, and gather all necessary supporting documentation.
*Compile information for pre-contract inquiries and address related questions.
Negotiation and Communication:
*Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants or their representatives within agreed parameters.
*Draft bespoke lease clauses and address inquiries regarding property details, deal terms, and contract provisions.
Transaction Management:
*Proactively follow up on applications, keeping Sales Managers updated on transaction progress.
*Record each stage of the leasing process accurately in the relevant database.
*Conduct pre- and post-completion lease checks and ensure accuracy of completed transaction records.
Landlord & Tenant Documentation:
*Assist in drafting and managing landlord and tenant-related agreements, including assignments, sublettings, rent review memorandums, wayleave agreements, deeds of surrender, and notices to quit.
*Review and prepare notices for the renewals process.
Data Integrity and Reporting:
*Ensure all completed transactions and notices are accurately recorded in the property management database.
*Perform quality checks on legal documents and other materials prior to service or distribution.
Additional Responsibilities *Comply with all internal policies and procedures as outlined by the organization.
*Support health and safety initiatives by adhering to relevant policies, reporting incidents or hazards, and collaborating with the Health and Safety team.
*Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by management that align with the role’s nature.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Candidates should possess strong negotiation skills, an understanding of leasing processes, and excellent communication abilities.
A working knowledge of health and safety practices and property-related databases is an advantage.
