Job Description:
My client is a prestigious law firm based in South London. They are currently looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and lead a varied caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion.
*Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of residential property law, including sales, purchases, transfers, and leases.
*Conduct thorough due diligence, draft, and review legal documents, and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.
*Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and timely progression of transactions.
*Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
*Stay up to date with the latest developments in residential property law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Contribute to business development activities, including client retention and networking to attract new clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in residential property law.
*Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes, regulations, and best practices.
*Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
*Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
*Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex transactions with minimal supervision.
*Experience in mentoring and supervising junior team members is desirable.
