Job Description:
Job Title: Prison Plumber
Role Specific Requirement:
*Required checks EL1 or EL2
*Full Driving Licence
*Appropriate trade qualification
*Gas safe registration card
*Legionella Control (L8)
*Due to security vetting, candidates are required to have at least 3 year’s continuous residency within the UK.
Main Purpose: To ensure the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme is completed in line with specifications and Work Packages. Please note, this role will be working within a prison environment.
*37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working 7.5 hour shift per day between the hours of 7am - 5pm.
Person Requirements:
Experience:
*Maximo maintenance system experience or similar package
*Experience in operating light plant
Responsibilities:
*Routine and non-routine maintenance
*Fault finding
*Identification of life expired equipment
*Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment
*Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
*Mains water supply repairs
*Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to agreed method statements
*Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
*Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant
