Accounts Assistant - Tiptree
*£28 - £30k
*100% office based
*Full-time or part-time across 5 days
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about finance? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small but dynamic finance team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our finance operations while contributing to the overall success of the business.
Your Responsibilities:
*Accounts Payable processing using a semi-automated system (overheads, bill of materials, UK and foreign transactions).
*Processing supplier payment runs.
*Maintaining and updating the sales ledger.
*Ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.
*Accruals and prepayment postings.
*Posting transactions into Sage Accounting.
*Investigating invoice discrepancies and resolving queries.
*Reconciling supplier statements.
*Maintaining the vehicle database.
*Assisting with quarterly VAT returns.
*Posting expense claims.
