Job Description:
Production Operator *Location: Welham Green, Hatfield
*Job Type: Temporary with potential for a permanent opportunity
*Salary: £12 per hour
*Start date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our client’s manufacturing facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in various operational tasks such as reeling & cutting, and more. You will also engage with our ERP system for inventory checks and ensure adherence to their Quality Management System.
Day-to-day of the role: *Perform tasks including cable cutting, assembling electronic cabling kits, reeling of cables, crimping, soldering
*Utilise the company’s ERP system to check and manage inventory.
*Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
*Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Good communication skills with co-workers and managers.
*Electronics qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, or City & Guilds) preferred.
*Minimum of 5 GCSEs.
*Interest and understanding of electronic technology and products.
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and diagrams.
*Basic understanding of testing cable and electronic assemblies.
*Aptitude for design, improvement, and problem-solving.
*Excellent IT and organisational skills.
*Experience in a similar role within a recognised Quality Management System (e.g., ISO9001 - 2015).
*Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
