Job Description:
Position: SEMH Teacher
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay Rate: £160 - £180 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, temp to perm
About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and resilient teacher to join our team on a full-time supply basis at an SEMH school in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students with varying needs, including mental health. Attachment disorder, foetal alcohol, speech and language and traits of autism and OCD.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide support to students with complex behaviours and SEMH needs.
*Plan and deliver tailored educational programs and interventions.
*Implement behaviour management strategies to support students in managing their behaviour.
*Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
*Support students in developing their social skills and emotional regulation.
*Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
