Job Description:
SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Pay: £13 an hour
Location:Middlesbrough
Temporary role to start as soon as possible
This is a fantastic opportunity for a School Administrator to support a Middlesbrough Primary School on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
*Provide administrative support
*Data entry
*Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence - phone and email
*Maintain accurate records, files, and databases
*Handle routine clerical tasks such as photocopying and filing,
*Diary management and scheduling of appointments
*Distribution of communication, newsletters and notices to parents as directed
*Assist in the organisation of events, trips and activities
*First day absence calls and preparation of attendance reports.
*Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
Essential experience:
*Proven experience in a school or educational setting
*Familiarity with school-specific software (e.g., M.I.S / Bromcom/SIMS)
*A strong understanding of Safeguarding within a school setting
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a busy school environment.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school management software
