Job Description:
Kingsley Consulting is hiring a Graduate Estimator in partnership with a rapidly expanding and innovative organisation committed to developing and delivering specialised solutions for complex challenges in modern construction. Our clients’ products are designed to enhance efficiency and ensure structural integrity across diverse projects. They work and collaborate closely with key players in the construction industry, including contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to contribute transformative systems that drive progress in the building process. Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE (plus bonus)
Hours: 40 hours/week, flexible start and finish times

Role Overview
As a Graduate Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the sales team.. You will assist in evaluating customer requirements, interpreting architectural drawings, and creating tailored solutions from their product range. Working closely with Tier 1 construction companies and architects, you will help secure early project involvement and grow their portfolio of successful projects across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email or phone, providing expert guidance on product selection.
- Review construction drawings (CAD) and architectural models to identify appropriate solutions from our product portfolio.
- Produce accurate and compelling quotations, presenting these to clients when necessary.
- Log quotes, interactions, and follow-up tasks in HubSpot, ensuring consistent tracking of opportunities.
- Liaise with architects and specifiers to ensure products meet their needs.
- Proactively track and manage quotes to build lasting client relationships and secure projects.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- A keen interest in technical challenges and logical approaches to solutions.
- Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings (e.g., CAD).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Construction discipline.
- Exposure to construction industry concepts (knowledge of building envelopes or roofing systems is a plus).
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot is an advantage.
- Membership or interest in professional bodies (e.g., AIOR, FIOR) is desirable but not required.
