Job Description:
Are you an experienced Administrator with an interest in the Construction Industry? Do you want to join a Business who invest in staff development?
The objective of this role is to provide essential support to our client’s technical and skilled team, enhancing their efficiency in day-to-day operations. This is a full time, office based role.
As a Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for:
*Provide support to the Commercial and Project Management Teams
*Offer general commercial and project administration support at our Warwick Office
Your responsibilities will include:
*Complete subcontractor orders prepared by the commercial team.
*Raise simple purchase orders
*Input initial data for subcontractor comparisons
*Check material invoices against delivery tickets and purchase orders.
*Review agency timesheets, including allocation sheets, ensuring correctness.
*Produce minutes for Design Team Meetings and follow up on outstanding actions.
*Assist in producing project Operation & Maintenance (O&M) information.
*Gather required BREEAM information to support the BREEAM assessment.
*Contribute to the compilation and production of monthly project reports.
*Manage drawing registers.
*Print and distribute drawings to consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
*Administer and coordinate our project document management and information system.
*Source supporting information to complete variation claims.
*Chase subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and necessary documentation.
*Complete prestart meeting minutes and follow up on subsequent actions.
*Source information to ensure compliance with the Considerate Contractor Scheme.
Ideally you will have/be:
*Fully proficient with Microsoft Packages, especially Excel
*Construction Industry experience
*Ability to occasionally travel to sites
*Attention to detail and comfortable with multitasking
