Data Protection Consultant
£35-50k + bonus + benefits
Remote - occasional travel to customer sites in the UK
This is a very exciting opportunity for a Data Protection Consultant to join a Security Consultancy as it continues an impressive period of growth. You will be responsible for delivering high quality data protection services that align with GDPR legislation as well as industry standards like NIST and ISO. You will also be involved in some GRC activities.
Requirements:
*Strong knowledge of UK and EU GDPR legislation
*Ability to develop data protection frameworks
*Experience of data mapping, data subject requests, managing data breaches, etc...
*Ability to run Data Protection impact assessments and audits
*Knowledge of NIST and ISO standards
*Understanding of other DP legislation including PECR and UK DPA
*Ability to write reports and presentations
*Certs like CIPP/E, CIPM or PDP ideal, or willingness to attain them
*Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
*SC clearance or eligibility to become SC cleared
