Page Group is supporting a local Southampton based organisation with their recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for overseeing a transactional team member as well as utilising your technical skills.

Our client is based in Southampton with free on site parking. Due to a change in structure they are recruiting into their accountancy team. This is a small and friendly team who require additional finance expertise to strengthen the department further.
Description
As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
*Producing monthly management accounts
*Month end
*Accruals, journal entries and prepayments
*Adhoc monthly reporting
*Balance Sheet reconciliations
*Intercompany accounts
*Overseeing x1 transactional staff member
*Dealing with queries
Profile
In order to be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must:
*Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
*Be able to work in a small team
*Be able to prioritise
*Be confident using finance software
*Be confident to communicate key findings within the company
*Have excellent communication skills - written and verbal
*Have excellent attention to detail
