Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer & BI Analyst to take a hands-on role in developing scalable data systems, creating impactful business insights, and guiding a talented team. With a 40/40/20 split between data engineering, BI, and mentoring, this role offers a dynamic mix of technical challenges and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: * Data Engineering (40%):
*Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to support seamless data integration and transformation.
*Develop scalable data architecture to enable high-quality analytics and reporting.
*Work with cloud-based platforms like Azure or AWS to manage and optimize data systems.
* Business Intelligence (40%):
*Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate key business insights.
*Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address analytical needs, aligning with strategic goals.
*Develop and automate KPI tracking to improve business performance.
* Mentorship (20%):
*Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts, fostering their development and ensuring project delivery excellence.
*Encourage the adoption of innovative tools, techniques, and best practices across the team.
* Process Optimization & Governance:
*Enhance data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
*Ensure compliance with data governance principles, maintaining quality and security standards.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
*Partner with senior leaders to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
*Proactively identify opportunities to align data strategies with business objectives.
About You: *Proven experience in data engineering and business intelligence, with a passion for mentoring and leadership.
*Skilled in building and optimizing ETL pipelines, with strong knowledge of tools like SQL, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
*Proficient in data visualization and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
*Understanding of modern data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud infrastructure.
*Adept at problem-solving, with a logical approach to complex challenges and a drive for continuous improvement.
*Strong communication skills, able to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
