An exciting opportunity for a Senior Underwriter to join a growing MGA. They manage over £110m of written business, over 30 distribution partners, and have built a team of over 20 experts across underwriting, actuarial, operations, and more.
Specialising in alternative insurance risk solutions, binders, and portfolio deals, they deliver unmatched client value in the delegated authority space.
What You’ll Do
*Drive underwriting profit and portfolio optimisation across diverse coverages and territories.
*Lead new business development and build strong relationships with brokers and coverholders.
*Work closely with our analytical team to refine risk strategies and communicate underwriting insights.
*Take ownership of a significant portion of our growing portfolio, contributing to our long-term success.
What You Bring
*Strong presence in the Lloyd’s/London market with the ability to generate business.
*Experience in delegated authority or reinsurance markets, with a portfolio underwriting approach.
*Analytical mindset, with a proven track record of delivering underwriting profit.
*Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a collaborative mindset.
