Hours: 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in Crosby. This role requires 1:1 support for children with SEN needs, including those with ADHD and Autism, and the ability to adapt to various classroom and outdoor settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to SEN children.
Facilitate learning inside and outside the classroom.
Support children with Autism, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
Experience and Qualifications:
A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Proven experience with SEN children in a UK school or similar setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices (training can be provided).
Resilience and adaptability to meet the needs of students.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one).
Provide two professional references.
