Analytical Scientist
Scientific & Laboratory Instrumentation - UK and Extensive International Travel
Access to Crewe
Commutable from: Warrington, Chester, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Wrexham
£28,000 - £33,000 Basic Salary + Expenses + Training & Benefits
*A rare opportunity for an analytical scientist to get involved in an engineering role with national and international travel.
*Manufacturer of specific laboratory instrumentation are looking for a test and service engineer.
*This role, due to continued growth & expansion offers a varied role working on a wide range of scientific & laboratory equipment.
The Company recruiting for the Analytical Scientist:
*This well-respected manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation works with a wide portfolio of international clients.
*Their equipment is trusted by well-known leading organisations within the food & drink sector as well more specialist industries including ecology, chemistry, drug misuse & doping.
*Having a truly international footprint they are looking to strengthen their technical engineering team.
The Role of the Analytical Scientist:
*You will be field based and will be responsible for the field testing and service of bespoke scientific and laboratory equipment.
*Utilising your previous experience and ongoing training, you will be ensuring that all systems are correctly working at customer sites.
*This role involves frequent UK and international travel.
*Working as part of an experienced team you will be supported and will become a valued member of the company and an important part of the customer facing team where you may be helping with end-user training.
*This role is split between being site based in Crewe and on customers sites across the UK and overseas. Note; up to 70% of this role will be international.
The Candidate for the Analytical Scientist:
*Experience using Mass-Spectrometry or related analytical instrumentation
*Strong eye for detail, great practical, technical & problem-solving ability
*Access to Crewe when not on customer sites
*Right to work in the UK without restrictions
*Full UK driving licence
*Hold a valid Passport
*Happy and able to travel in the UK and internationally for the majority of the role
The Package for the Analytical Scientist:
*£28,000 - £33,000 basic salary, depending on experience
*Travel Expenses
*Frequent International Travel
*Company Credit Card
*Ongoing training provided on equipment or engineering.
*Competitive benefits package including 10% company pension & Healthcare
*25 days holiday + stats
