JOB- Production Manager
LOCATION- Ware
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Ware. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead production operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality products.

The Production Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
*Proven experience in a Production Manager role within a manufacturing environment
*A degree or relevant qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management (BEng, HND, etc.)
*Strong knowledge of production processes, resource planning, and quality standards
*Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
*Excellent leadership and team management skills
*Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
*Good communication skills for liaising with teams and stakeholders
*Proficiency in production management software and tools
The Production Manager role will involve:
*Overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
*Managing and mentoring a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
*Planning and scheduling production workflows to meet customer demands
*Monitoring KPIs and implementing strategies to optimize production output
*Collaborating with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain
*Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment
*Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
*Preparing production reports and presenting performance updates to senior management
