Key Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
*Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
*Lead and manage teams handling income, purchasing, and payroll operations.
*Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
*Ensure compliance with regulations, including Charities SORP, VAT, and payroll legislation.
*Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

*Supervise and mentor finance team members, promoting a culture of excellence.
*Liaise with auditors and assist in the annual audit process.
*Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and optimise financial performance.

The successful candidate will:
*Ideally hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Have proven experience in senior financial management, ideally in the education or charity sector.
*Be able to evidence strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulations.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
