Job Purpose
*Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory and planning services
*Preparation of tax returns
*Assist with tax reporting and the provision of compliance and advisory services
*Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
*Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
*Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
*Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
*Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development
*Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
*ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
*Qualified by experience also considered
*A proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
*Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
*Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike
*Highly organised, with the ability to manage your own workload autonomously
*Good at working under pressure to ensure deadlines and targets are met
*Self-motivated, professional and reliable, with a keen eye for detail
*Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
*An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
