Job Purpose *Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation advisory and planning services
*Oversee corporate tax reviews for audit clients, ensuring compliance at every step
*Support Partners with corporate tax restructuring and due diligence
*Assist with the preparation of research and development tax credit claims
*Deal with ad-hoc queries across the wider firm when required
*Identify tax advisory and planning opportunities
*Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
*Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
*Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
*Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
*Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development
*Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements *ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
*Qualified by experience also considered
*Corporate tax and business tax compliance experience
*A proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
*Solid tax advisory knowledge
*Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
*Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
*Highly organised, with the ability to manage own workload autonomously
*Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
*Self-motivated, professional and reliable
*Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
*An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
