Head of QA Capability Management, Senior QA Test Manager, Remote
  • England,London
  • full-time
  • £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, negotiable
Job Description:
Head of QA Capability Management, Senior IT Test Manager, Hands On Test Lead, Agile, Automation, Mainly Remote
Head of QA Capability Management / Senior IT Test Manager, Hands On Test Lead required to work for a fast growing business based in Central London. However, this will be practically remote - there will be some travel to the Central London offices, and as it is a global role, there will be some global travel from time to time. However, ALL travel and accommodation expenses will be paid. Please read in full before applying…
Also, before we go any further…as this has global coverage, there may be some early / late calls. You must be prepared for this. There will be give and take with times, along with some flexibility if things are becoming quite taxing. However, we want someone dedicated and definitely not someone who wants a hardened 9am - 5pm kind of position!
We need you to have the following experience, which is imperative:
*Exposure to / experience of / knowledge of Professional Services organisations
*Experience of working in a Global environment
*Solid Vendor Management skills / managing 3rd parties
This role is to show this company the way in enhancing an Automation QA function. From now and beyond will be very Automation focused and we need someone who has done this before. We also need this person to have solid Agile experience and to understand Agile inside and out.
Although this is a very hands on role, combined with strategic, you will have excellent Stakeholder Management skills, along with proven Leadership experience. You will have to sit down with the business, listen to them and make recommendations for tools to implement based on this. Some tools may have already been decided prior to your arrival, so we would need you to respect this too.
This is like a QA Automation playground where you will be given SO much autonomy in the role that you can really make this your own. The function will grow too, which will only breed more opportunity.
You will be developing standards, processes, implementing governance, leading a team (internal employees, along with 3rd party vendors), along with being assertive in your approach and being strong enough to simply get things done. If you need key leaders to start work early to help you facilitate your plan, we need you to be strong enough to command this!
We also need someone who understands end to end Quality Assurance, has extensive exposure to it and can maintain quality throughout.
New Products will be coming thick and fast within this organisation that it may feel overwhelming initially, but support will be there, and the team will grow. We just need someone strong enough to weather the storm! It is all exciting stuff. Is this you?
