Description
The Management Accountant role is initially a 6 month contract which could be extended and will be based in Openshaw Manchester. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:
*Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
*Balance sheet reconciliation
*Review the internal controls as part of month end making recommendations of areas we can improve
*Contribute to annual budgeting and strategic planning process
*Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reductions
*Manage financial reporting systems to ensure accurate data
*Collaborate with the finance team and other departments
*Participate in external audits
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
*Support the management team in decision-making
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
*Be ACCA/CIMA Part qualified/finalist/qualified by experience
*Have experience in Preparing for an Audit
*Have experience in balance sheet reconciliation
*Have experience in reviewing controls
*Be available for a temporary contract initially
*Be able to commute to Openshaw office
