An exciting opportunity has arisen for a diligent Transport and Production Planner, within the logistics department, based in Milton Keynes. The role requires a Transport Planner who can commit to the weekly rotating shift pattern of 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm and 12nn - 8pm.
Description
The Transport and Production Planner will have responsible for the below:
*Manage and coordinate production and transport schedules
*Ensure that all products are delivered on time and in perfect condition
*Develop strategies for increasing efficiency in the production and transport processes
*Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
*Resolve any issues that may arise during the production or transport process
*Maintain accurate records of all production and transport activities
*Implement and maintain safety standards in all production and transport activities
*Provide regular reports to management on production and transport activities
Profile
A successful Transport and Production Planner should have:
*Proven track record of working as a Transport and/ Production Planner
*Proficiency in using production and transport management software
*Excellent problem-solving skills
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A high level of attention to detail
*The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
