Job Title: Residential Childcare Trainer Assessor

Location: Home/Field based - Candidates can be based anywhere in England and must be flexible with travel

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:
*Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
*Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above. 
*Must hold a Level 5 in Residential Childcare.
*Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
*Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency as a Manager within a Children’s Home.
*Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
*Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
*Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diploma’s.
*Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
*Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
*Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
*Support, advise and motivate learners.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
