Job Description:
My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team.
As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines, turning, milling and drilling, used in the production of components and products.
Main Duties
*Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
*Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances
*Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
*Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
*At least 18 months of manufacturing/engineering CNC experience
*Ability to use precision measuring instruments
*Excellent attention to detail
*Good communication skills
*Ability to work as part of a team
*Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Shift pattern
Mon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours)
