Murray McIntosh are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a contract basis as detailed below:

Previous experience required:
*Able to produce solid models, designs & drawings of mechanical components and systems
*Structural load bearing design experience
*Plastic injection moulding design experience (essential)
*Strong material knowledge
*Experience of designing intricate mechanisms, rotary gears & gearboxes, linear translation & bearings etc
*Experience of designing special purpose machinery, robots, or automated equipment
*Solidworks CAD experience
*Experience of micro machining or micro moulding (desired).
*Experience of working in a regulated industry such as medical, aerospace or automotive is advantageous
