Executive Assistant to Chief Librarian *Hourly Salary: £17.94 per hour PAYE
*Location: St Pancras, London
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary ongoing

Join one of the world’s great libraries as an Executive Assistant, providing high-quality administrative support to the Chief Librarian. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to the effective management of this renowned library:
*Provide administrative support to the Chief Librarian, ensuring efficient day-to-day operation at the library’s senior level.
*Research, prepare, and coordinate briefings and reports for meetings.
*Manage the budget, ensuring compliance with budget and policy for expenditures.
*Screen, prioritise, and handle communications via telephone, post, and email.
*Liaise with other Business Support Officers and Assistants across the Library to maintain high standards of service.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Substantial experience as a personal assistant at a senior level in a large, high-profile organisation.
*Experience within the arts and culture is welcomed
*Excellent diary management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
*Experience working with very senior officials
*Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
*High standard of written and spoken English for drafting correspondence and documentation.
*Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
